We’re So Glad You’re Here
Every Sunday, 50-75 people of all ages and backgrounds gather for worship in a casual and friendly setting on the outskirts of Dahlonega. Whether you’re exploring your faith, searching for a church home, or simply visiting the beautiful North Georgia mountains, we warmly welcome you to St. Elizabeth’s Episcopal Church. From the moment you walk through our red doors, we hope you’ll feel at ease and at home.
What to Expect on Sunday
We worship together on Sundays at 10:30 AM, both in person and online. Upon arrival, a friendly usher will meet you at the door and offer you a bulletin to guide you through the service. You can sit anywhere you like.
Our worship is liturgical, following ancient traditions of the Episcopal Church and includes scripture readings, prayers, a sermon, and Holy Communion. If you’re new to this style of worship, don’t worry! You’re invited to participate as you feel comfortable or simply observe. There’s no pressure, and you’ll be in good company.
We love having children in church. There’s a small play area at the back of the sanctuary where families can stay together and children are free to be themselves. We believe that a joyful noise is part of worship.
If you prefer to join us online, you can find our services live-streamed on YouTube every Sunday, and recordings remain available for a few weeks afterward. As a small rural church, we do our best with technology and appreciate your grace if things aren’t always perfect.
We look forward to meeting you. Wherever you are on your journey of faith, you are welcome here, just as you are.
